The building consents report is a summary of all the building consents for a
selected property, with details including the date of application, a brief
description of the consent and the status of the consent.

The building consents report is a tool that you can use to evaluate the
various properties you're looking at and narrow your choices.
Homeowners….
If you're a homeowner, the building consents report is a simple and easy way
of letting you know that the right approvals have been obtained for any building
work on your property. This is especially important if you're looking at selling
and wanting to make sure everything is in order before prospective purchasers
start doing their own investigations.
At $9.95, the building consents report is an easy and convenient way for you
to get important information about a property.
Order now and we'll email you a link to the building
consents report you've ordered. You can then download the report from our
website in Portable Document File (PDF) format. It only takes minutes to process
your request.
Before you start
Please note: The report is only available in electronic format and is
only available by using this online service. You need to be
able to identify the specific address, so it would help if you also
know the legal description or certificate of title (CT) of the
property.

online and pay by credit card

You will need
- credit card details. We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express
and Diners Club
- you need to search by the address the application is for. You will
need to be able to identify the specific address so it would help if you
also know the legal description or certificate of title (CT) of the
property.
The online session will expire after 20 minutes so make sure you
have everything you need before you start.
Instructions
- you will be presented with a series of screens where you will find
step by step instructions as you go through the request process -
use the help content located in menu option Other >> Help,
if you need more detailed assistance
- at the end you will be given a reference number. Receipts for online
requests are not available, however you can either print the
screen or note down the details for future reference
- close the browser window when you are finished.
When using the service we recommend that you use the navigation buttons
provided within the screens. Use of the 'enter' key in some screens may
have unexpected results. |

Electronic delivery Once you have submitted your request, we will send you an email with a link to our website from where you can download your
map in PDF format. You will have 14 days to download and print the map.
If you have not received the email link and it has been more than an
hour since you submitted your request, please phone us on (09) 379 1344
for further assistance.
Due to the length of the url or your individual screen settings, the
email link may wrap around to the next line making it invalid. Check
that the file extension at the end of the web address is included in the
same line and is therefore part of the link.
The building consents report should include all building records held
for the property you have selected. If you believe there is incorrect or
missing information, please phone us on (09) 379 1344 for further
assistance.
