The Auckland City District Plan (Isthmus Section) was approved in part by the
Council by resolution passed at its meeting held on the 11 November 1999. This
approval is with the consent of the Environment Court under Clause 17(2) of the
First Schedule to the Resource Management Act 1991, subject to the exclusions
being the subject of appeals or Plan Modifications. This plan came into
operation from 9:00 am on 15 November 1999.
The District Plan was notified in 1993 for public submission and has been
through the statutory processes set out in the Resource Management Act 1991.
This document applies to the Auckland Isthmus area of the City (excluding the
Central Area).
We appreciate that there are probably ways of improving the layout of this
online document and who better to provide comments than the users - so, any
comments
or suggestions will be gratefully received.
The modifications that are in force have been
incorporated into the Plan. Whilst every effort has been taken to ensure the
accuracy and currency of the information in these pages, the contents are
subject to review and change from time to time. If you require confirmation on
the accuracy of the document please contact City Planning.
Readers are also advised to seek specific information from Auckland City
Council.

public counters at the Council Buildings and at all Auckland City public
